Full Circle Mural

The Laguna Canyon Foundation selected Katy's "Full Circle" mural concept for permanent display at the state of the art NixNature Center in Laguna Beach. Created with the help of a small team over the course of two years, the mural serves as a non-linear timeline depicting various user-groups who have occupied the land for different purposes. It is painted in oil and incorporates three-dimensional layered panels and sculptural elements, such as a bronze hawk and an original ox cart wheel.
