The Laguna Canyon Foundation selected Katy's "Full Circle" mural concept for permanent display at the state of the art Nix Nature Center in Laguna Beach. Created with the help of a small team, the mural serves as a non-linear timeline depicting various user-groups who have occupied the land for different purposes. It is painted in oil and incorporates three-dimensional layered panels and sculptural elements, such as a bronze hawk and an original ox cart wheel.
