The Laguna Canyon Foundation selected Katy’s “Full Circle” mural concept for permanent display a the state-of-the-art Nix Nature Center in Laguna Beach, California. Created with the help of a small team, the mural serves as a nonlinear timeline depicting various people groups that occupied the land for different purposes. It is painted in oil and incorporates three-dimensional panels and sculptural elements, such as a bronze hawk and an original ox cart wheel.
